This is a traditional log cabin quilt with an innovative new design for the border done with applique and english paper piecing. The border was designed by Yvette Marie Jones of Vetmari.com.
I love the traditional block with the whimsical flowers in this border. Full instruction for log cabin and hexi are included. Pattern assumes knowledge of applique methods and does not specify the use of a particular method. All traditional applique methods will work here. Make it scrappy or planned, your choice.
