This quilt uses dresden fan blocks but adds an interesting 3-d effect in the center of the flower. Absolutely fun to make. Only 9 blocks make the whole quilt. The Dresden flowers have a 3D center to them that is so much fun to learn and make. The scalloped edge adds a delectable finish. This is needle turn applique, but there is not much of that to do.
